**What is important BirthDay or Date of Birth ?**

** Birthday is not (Hindu's) date of birth is more scientific**

In traditional Hinduism, birthdays are not celebrated, birth dates are celebrated.  Suppose someone is born on the 10th of December, exactly the 24th day of the month of Bengali Aghrayan.  Next year's English and Bengali dates may not match, may be different days.

On the other hand, the annual birth and death ceremonies of Hindus are celebrated on dates, not dates.  Suppose someone is born on the fifth day of the month of Bhadra.  His birthday will be celebrated on that exact date next year, whatever the date.  Worship of Hindu deities is completed on the date.  Such as Saraswati Puja on Sripanchami Tithi, Lakshmi Puja on Purnima, Kali Puja on New Moon Day, etc.  The birth and death anniversaries of the saints are also celebrated on dates, not dates.  Buddhists, Jains and Sikhs also observe the date.

Birthday celebrations are part of Christian and European culture.  Birthday dates are much more mathematically scientific.  You can share this special information with your relatives and friends.  Consideration is one's own.
